Southern California MacFair 2006 returns November 3-4 at Cerritos College.

Norwalk, CA--Southern California MacFair 2006 ( http://www.macfair.org ), the region's largest Macintosh event returns for it’s fifth year at Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA for two huge days, Friday and Saturday, November 3-4. Over 40 companies are participating at the event including, Xerox, ProVue Development, MacAlly, Prosoft Engineering, R/com networks, FastMac, MacSupportExperts.com and many more.

An extremely popular feature at the SoCal MacFair 2006 is our world-class hands-on and classroom training workshops in state of the art Macintosh labs. Some of the top instructors in the world will be teaching at this year’s event including: James Rea, Stephen M. Burns, Scott Immerman, Marni Melrose, David Barrett and Michael Levin. Due to limited Macintosh stations in each lab, space is very limited. Advance registration is encouraged.

A brand new feature this year is the Virtual MacFair 2006. For Mac users not residing in the Southern California area (Zip Codes, 90001 to 93999) the event is offering an opportunity to experience an abbreviated version of the SoCal MacFair 2006. The SoCal MacFair will be offering "virtual attendees" an opportunity to listen in live via Skype to a limited selection of SoCal MacFair seminars.

Keith Mueller, the show’s organizer notes, “The support of the Mac community has been incredible. Since 2002, more than 4,000 people have attended the SoCal MacFair, making it by far the largest Mac get together in the Southwest! We’re thrilled to once again be adding more features to the Southern California MacFair 2006.”

The Southern California MacFair 2006 is centrally located for all southern California residents at Cerritos College - just a short drive from all major California freeways. Hands-on workshops and classes are scheduled Friday and Saturday November 3-4. The vendor expo and presentation seminars are Saturday, November 4th from 10a-5:30p. One day advanced online registration for the vendor expo, presentation seminars and door prize entry is only $17, credit cards accepted ($20 cash at the door). Attendees can advance register online using priority code: AHTEZ. to save 10% off all registration fees. The code is good for online registration only and expires on November 1, 2006. Parking is free on Saturday.
